Effective from today, 25th April, Country Manager, Roger Liu, will be leaving the company due to personal development reasons. David Newington, the APAC Commercial Director of AirPlus, will take over as the interim Country Manager until a suitable replacement is found.

David Newington comes with a wealth of experience in the business travel payment management industry. Previously serving as the Country Manager for AirPlus International Australia and later as the Commercial Director for AirPlus APAC, David has proven his capabilities in driving business growth, expanding market presence, and fostering partnerships with both regional and global companies.
During his tenure as Country Manager Australia, spanning from 2011 to 2017, David successfully established AirPlus International in Australia, achieving profitability and capturing a double-digit market share. Subsequently, as the Commercial Director of AirPlus APAC, he led strategic initiatives across Asia Pacific, including pivotal markets like China, Australia, Japan and India. Under his leadership, AirPlus forged significant partnerships and implemented data-driven strategies that propelled growth, revenue, and profitability.
